Complete Nail Technicians Course

My award winning Complete Nail Technician Course starts your journey into the beauty industry as a qualified nail technician. You require previous experience as this course is suitable for complete beginners and for students aged 16 plus.

This course covers all the skills you need to become a successful nail technician, starting with the basics of health and safety through to Manicure, Pedicure, Tip application, Gel polish, UV gel extensions, Acrylic nail extensions, Acrylic sculpting, Maintenance and Aftercare.

My course offers 3 days of practical training in a small group (max 4) with me and an assessment day 6 weeks after your practical training days. Alongside this you will have access to my online education platform to support you through your journey. Most Importantly you will have direct access to me at the end of the phone to again support your every need. You will never be alone and I will help guide you every step of the way.

You will be training at my professional training academy where I keep our groups to a maximum of 4 students to ensure I can give you all the support and attention you need to maximise your learning journey.

All products and equipment will be provided during your training days and assessment day. During your practical training days lunch and refreshments will be also be provided to keep you comfortable and refreshed throughout your days with me here at the Academy. On successful completion of the course you will be rewarded with a fully accredited certificate that will be printed and framed and awarded to you at the end of your assessment day. This will allow you to work as a professional within the industry allowing you to gain full insurance cover.

We will start with the basics on day 1 covering all the relevant theory, health and safety, nail structure alongside the anatomy and physiology. Then we will move onto the practical side with a full demonstration of a manicure and pedicure, following your chance to work on real life models carrying out each treatment with the guidance and support of your tutor right beside you.

DAY 2 - Gel Polish and Gel Extensions
This day will focus on tip application, nail shaping and then moving onto the benefits of UV Gels, you will also be covering the different types of gels within the market Your tutor will carry out a full demonstration of the application of tips and UV Gels, including french application, maintenance and removals. You will then have the opportunity to work on live models covering all of the practical and again having your tutor by your side to support and guide you.

Day 3- Acrylics and Sculpting
Your final practical day will be on Acrylics. Your tutor will demonstrate the application of a clear acrylic and french acrylic, how to apply a nail form and free form an extension using the acrylic. Maintenance and removals will also be covered, allowing plenty of time for you to put your skills into practice working of live models throughout the day. Your tutor will round the day up with a short quiz to assess your learning and giving you plenty of opportunities for question and answers. Before you leave the academy we will explain what will be required from you during your home-study time and what preparation you will need to do for your final assessment day.

Assessment Day - 6 Weeks Later
This day is nothing to be nervous about, its a chance for you and your tutor to come back together face to face and identify any problem areas that may need a little extra work. This is a vital part of your learning journey and must be attended before any qualifications are awarded. This is a practical day where your tutor will ask you to complete 1 hand of Acrylic application and 1 hand of UV Gel application, you will be expected to complete this within industry standard times and the nails will be expected to be finished to a professional standard. Once this has been completed your tutor will sit with you and give you her feedback and on successful completion you will be presented with your fully accredited printed and framed certificate.
