Eyes are perhaps more than ever the most important feature on our faces.
In this day and age with the recommended use of face masks which cover almost all If our facial features except the eyes, they have become even more crucial, as windows onto our thoughts and emotions
Eyebrows have always played a huge role in the world of beauty and the qualified beautician is always advised to have a few eyebrow treatments to offer their clientele
Brows shape and frame the eye and there are so many different ways in which you can style your clients eyebrows, the most popular method still being microblading.
However, what if the microblading effect is simply not the way your client wants their eyebrows done? What if they prefer the look of wearing brow powder to pencil strokes? Or, if their skin type is not suitable for microblading?
Well with our Powder Brow course we can now offer the perfect answer to all these questions enabling you to expand and develop the treatment options you can offer and placing you ahead of your potential competition
There are different Permanent Make Up (PMU) methods for eyebrow tattooing, or eyebrow embroidery, such as powder brows.
Powder brows create the desired fullness of eyebrows in a bespoke arch shape that best suits your clients’ facial features and brings out their natural beauty.
Powder brows (also known as powder brow tattoo or shaded brows) is a semi-permanent make-up procedure for eyebrow enhancement in which the beautician inserts PMU pigments into the top layers of the skin with a tattoo machine designed using the dotting technique, or pixelization. As a result, a powdery eyebrow effect is achieved, and misty, powdered brows are created. The technique is similar to microshading, but the results are more dramatic.
The whole procedure is a two-step process, and it consists of the initial insertion of the pigment and the touch-up that takes place 6 – 8 weeks after the initial procedure.
The average powder brow price is around £450 although this can depend on location and individual beautician. When it comes to price though there is little difference between powder brows and microblading.
It is always advisable to check out what prices are being charged in your area. If this treatment is not being offered then even better as you are now the trend setter and the beautician to be followed.
Powder brows can last 1 - 3 years providing the aftercare programme is followed and also depending on the skin type of your client
Powder brows are an increasingly popular form of PMU, with many advantages, such as saving your client time doing their eyebrows every morning
Fashionable, trendy and no maintenance brows are the ultimate result. Also, the confidence boost you will be giving your clients from these beautiful bespoke brows is priceless.
